As of September 2010 Jamison's doctors are putting his search for a bone marrow match on hold because Jamison is responding very well to immunosuppresive therapy. However things can change at any moment and Jamison's family wants to be proactive and prepared for the future. Tevita

February 18th, 2011 Tevita was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia a bone marrow failure disease where the bone marrow cannot produce enough blood cells to keep the body safe from infection, serious bleeding and can be fatal if not treated. There are 2 treatments Tevita will undergo to try to cure this disease. The first is called Immune Suppression Therapy, also referred to as mini chemotherapy. If his body does not react to the Immune Suppression Therapy the only way to cure this disease is a bone marrow transplant. Tevita is a very active 8 year old who loves contact sports. He plays tackle football and rugby and loves baseball.
